Once again this year, the ZIA Energy & Innovation Congress is the occasion for numerous industry representatives to gather first-hand information about the latest trends and innovative solutions in the real estate industry on site in Berlin. The congress will take place from November 7 to 8, 2018; the venue is the Ladestraße of the German Museum of Technology with its impressive historical ambience. In contrast to previous years, this year for the first time two different events have been combined into one congress. While the first day of the congress on November 7 will focus on energy issues, the second day, November 8, will be dedicated to innovation and digitalization in the real estate industry.
Under the motto "Young meets old - PropTech as a driver of the digital strategy", Nessim Djerboua from EverReal and Katrin Kirchner from MEAG MUNICH ERGO AssetManagement will report from 3:05 p.m. on a cooperation project between the two companies which is intended to revolutionize the rental process and reduce the time required for this by more than half.
"In Berlin, we are looking forward to the exchange with all those who are interested in the potentials of digitalization in the real estate industry and want to actively develop these potentials", says Nessim Djerboua, CEO and founder of EverReal. "Above all, we would like to use our concrete practical example to show how time-consuming letting processes can be made leaner and more efficient, so that potential tenants benefit as much as the landlord's employees, who need less time and resources for routine tasks and can therefore concentrate more on important core tasks".
The real estate industry is booming - the order situation for property managers, landlords and property managers has never been as good. Nevertheless, there is still no comprehensive digitization in the real estate industry, which results in many missed opportunities.
People's lives have always changed disruptively. The triggers range from inventions like electricity to historical events like the fall of the iron curtain. The current situation is also such an event. A virus that paralyzes the entire life of society leaves the world in a different state.
The world is digital. From real-time communication with friends and family to online shopping - we use many digital structures because they provide us with an improved time and benefit factor. Against this background, it is all the more astonishing that comprehensive digitization has still not taken place in the real estate industry.
